Desert Tale
I wandered for miles and miles,
On the hot and golden sand.
Looking for someone who smiles
Or the one who waves a hand.
I looked around and I could not find
And I ended up talking with myself.
I could not see or am I blind,
Is there someone for my help?
Few more miles and hours passed,
I was still walking with me.
Then I heard a sound at last,
That came from distant desert tree.
So I went there to see
And I was surprised to see a horse.
He was thirsty very thirsty,
Just like me he was playing desert wars.
He looked at me with such a please,
Like he was waiting for my help,
Where few drops are called a sea,
I had some, so I gave him for himself.
Everybody needs a helping hand,
And that’s how we became friends.
Helping each other in every twist and bend.
A bond of friendship made us cross the sands.
And that’s how my SAD little story comes to HAPPY end.
Thank you so much,
Thank you so much my dear friend.
On the hot and golden sand.
