An Empty Note

An empty note I write thee, Bewildered inside me, My thoughts. Countless words that race within, None, but the silence win, My Voice. Volumes have I wrote on love, Kept safe, on those inkless pages of, My Mind. Priceless but an empty note, A poem of an anecdote, From My Heart. -- By Husain Kantawala

Caged Within

Block those doors, Lock those chains, Shut them out, Let lose those hearts, And cage their brains. Let em keep trying, Crying behind walls, Let em yell, scream, Allow them to dream. Wake them up midnight, Till rises the morning sun, Till they are ready for their final run, Like bullet shooting from the gun. Then release, a little peace, Let em fall on my knees, For I am their time, Till they run out of me.

Trials of Love

Lovers eyes are cold and true, And passes every final test. Pierce the knife into the heart, And the other eyes begin to melt. Breaks apart and spills the truth, The emotions that were never felt. -- By Husain Kantawala

You Matter

You matter. Your actions matter. Whatever you are, however you are. Rich matters, poor matters. Great if you have achieved your dream, But if you have not, then that's ok. It matters even if you have done nothing significant, Remember, if a butterfly can start a storm, so can you. You matter, every life matters. -- Husain Kantawala

A Little Secret

Little secret for you and me, Little secrets thats all gotta be, Share a little bit, to start a talk, A little bit extra, enough for a walk, A little secret for a friendship that can be, Keep a little secret for you and me. You be a flower, and I can be the wind, Between the far away valleys, let our secret sing, Litttle bit of a blue, little orange, pink and red, Like the colors of the sky, let our secret spread. In a little bit of rain, and a little bit of dark, Beneath the sheet of the moonlight, let our secret spark. A little secret, can it ever be, A little secret for you and me. -- by Husain Kantawala
